From 25th-27th July, Ilaria Pigliautile and Anna Laura Pisello from #EAPLAB at Università degli Studi di Perugia were at the 9th Conference of the International Association of Building Physics at Toronto Metropolitan University, disseminating the outcomes and framework of the SONATA project on multidomain personalized comfort in the built environment with a multiscale vision from the material to the urban scale.
Anna Laura Pisello lectured to 62 PhD students from all around the world, and presented smart materials solutions for increasingly environmentally sustainable buildings.
Ilaria Pigliautile presented two papers on personalized adaptive environmental conditions to better fit with human wellbeing needs.
EAPLAB’s commitment towards more resilient and comfortable built environments was highlighted in these contributions to the conference, underlining the “Adaptive Workplace, Better Health” aims of the SONATA project.
