GBC Italia, the University of Perugia (UNIPG), and EValTech (Elettrica Valeri) recently participated in the MCE Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, held from March 12th to 15th in Milan, Italy. Stefania Striato, along with #SONATA_horizon partners Prof. Anna Laura Pisello from the Università degli Studi di Perugia and Benedetta Pioppi from EValTech R&D, seized the invaluable opportunity to showcase the innovative work of SONATA.

Reflecting on the event, Stefania remarked, “MCE provided an exceptional platform to introduce a groundbreaking comfort concept: Multidomain comfort in civil plant engineering and air conditioning. Thanks to the SONATA project, we could captivate visitors’ attention with the emerging frontier of environmental well-being. While the HVAC sector already embraces the interaction between different plant systems, such as heat pumps combined with photovoltaic systems, our new approach extends beyond mere functionality to redefine comfort as holistic and integrated across diverse domains.”

The fair, which attracted over 121,000 visitors, proved ideal for sparking curiosity and engaging a wide audience in discussions about this innovative concept. Stefania further emphasized, “It was not only an opportunity to introduce our vision to a broad audience but also to initiate potential collaborations with industry stakeholders. These initial contacts pave the way for future project activities such as workshops, where productive realities can contribute to further shaping and refining our innovative
approach to comfort.”
