On Sunday 23rd November the SONATA team at KU Leuven hosted an Open Day as part of the “Dag van de Wetenschap” event.
Visitors were treated to a tour and demonstration of the SONATA Open Plan Office Field Study Site at KU Leuven’s Department of Electrical Engineering (ESAT), where they experienced the SONATA adaptive workspace technologies in action:
- Electrochromic tinted windows
- Robotic wall partition
- Customised height-adjustable desks
- Acoustic ceiling panels equipped with a dynamic lighting system
The SONATA ESAT Office will be the site of our next series of experiments into how these situationally-aware technologies will work together to create the healthy workspaces of the future!
A huge thanks to the KU Leuven team for offering our visitors such an immersive and eye-opening experience.
Stay tuned for more on our study sites and results!
